Amusement Ride & Event Permits
The Building Code Commission (BCC) oversees the registration, inspection, and permitting of amusement rides and temporary event structures to ensure public safety and compliance with applicable State regulations.
Annual Inspector of Amusement Ride Registration
Individuals or companies who wish to perform amusement ride inspections within the State must register annually with the BCC. Only registered inspectors are authorized to perform official amusement ride evaluations.

Amusement Ride Annual Inspection
All amusement rides operating within the State must undergo an annual inspection by a registered amusement ride inspector. A current inspection certificate must be issued prior to the ride opening to the public.

Amusement Ride Event Inspection
Rides set up for temporary events—such as fairs, carnivals, or festivals—require on-site inspections before the event begins. No ride may operate until the on-site inspection is completed and approved.

Manufacturing of Native Lumber Registration
Individuals or businesses producing native lumber for construction use must be registered with the BCC. Registered producers may supply lumber for approved construction projects.
